Children's Ministry

Children are a blessing from the Lord. Jesus himself loves children and commanded His disciples to let the little children come to Him so that He could bless them. At Christ Community Church, we offer children's ministry from birth through 4th grade, so that we can teach children who God is and the good news about Jesus. The character of God and the gospel are the twin themes of all our children's ministry, done in a safe and loving environment. Our children's ministry is a teaching ministry because children need to learn about God and the gospel.

During our 9 am Sunday School hour, we use The Gospel Project curriculum, which provides a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study experience that helps children see how all of Scripture points to Jesus. Learn more about The Gospel Project.

During our Children's Church hour (approximately 11 am, when kids are dismissed during the service), we are working through Generations of Grace, a biblically-based, age-appropriate curriculum developed by Grace Community Church in Los Angeles. This curriculum emphasizes teaching the whole counsel of God, helping children understand the Bible in its full context. Learn more about Generations of Grace.
